Thousands are expected to attend Branson, Missouri's 66th Annual Adoration Parade set for 5:30 p.m. today, Sunday, December 7th. Lighting of the adoration scene, the area's largest nativity scene, will take place at 5 p.m., just before the parade begins. Organizers are reporting this year's parade will be larger than last year, with a total of 27 floats, including the local Branson-Hollister Rotary Club float. In addition, there will be 14 marching bands coming from as far away as Kansas.

Due to heavy downtown construction, this year's parade route will proceed down Sycamore, turning onto Main Street before heading down to Branson Landing Boulevard, starting at Belk and ending at Bass Pro Shops. Grandstands will be located across the street from Belk. There will also be numerous places to sit all along the route. Fortunately today looks like a great day for a parade! It’s currently 50-degrees and sunny weather in Branson.
