Branson, Missouri Sales Tax Revenue Going Back Up

Branson, Missouri sales tax revenue is up, up, up! Branson tax revenue is now comparable to pre-recession figures and overall the local economy is showing signs of growth and stability. Taney County is also up with an increase of 4 percent from 2013 sales tax figures. Reported sales tax revenue was $7.2 million in 2014, the highest amount in the last 10 years. Branson also reported the highest 1 percent sales tax figures the city has seen in the last 10 years with $10.7 million, a 3 percent increase over 2013.

Assuming these tax trends continue, 2015 will be a very good year for Branson, Missouri. If you're on the fence, trying to decide if now is the right time to buy real estate in Branson, you better hop off and do some serious looking. Home prices are predicted to keep going up.
