I was looking at these condos in 2020. They were selling for 110k to 118k. Now you guys are asking 260k. I guess you guys didn't get the memo, CASH is in short supply and interest rates are more than double the rates of 3 years ago, I was interested and understand appreciation but will never pay a quarter of a million for these basic condos, I have rented 2 of them and they will not command enough ROI for someone to invest that much cash. Financing is out of the question with these interest rates. I will buy Condos in Branson, but when it makes sense

Branson real estate prices have risen significantly over the past few years. Increased demand and rising construction costs have contributed to these price hikes. Plus, many Vineyard condos for sale have been given extensive renovations and improvements, making them more desirable and valuable. The real estate market is also dynamic and largely influenced by inflation. Since the value of cash decreases over time, it continues to contribute to higher prices compared to just a few years ago. Therefore, folks are continuing to invest into hard assets that are income producing.

We are looking for a primary residence that we can turn into a STR within the next two years. There seem to be a lot of subdivisions where STR is allowed. Can you provide any guidance on which areas might be the best options for a particular price point?
Also - is it appropriate to ask for rental financials from a seller prior to a showing to know if the unit would generate enough income to warrant the sale price (and current interest rates)?

Lots of variables to consider! A low list price property might not make for a good short-term rental (STR). Just like strong lease financials don't always support a high list price.

It also depends on the rental management, their services, fees, etc. Sometimes just simply switching to a lower split, more aggressive leasing agent will turn around a low producing property into a high income earner.

Some resorts offer more amenities to attract guests, yet come with higher association dues. Be sure to check out our nightly rental page located under the featured listings tab on this website which lists all STR property prices and neighborhood associations.

In addition, most vacation rental properties listed on this website have lease financials available. Anytime we list an STR, commercial real estate, or any other income producing property, we encourage the seller to provide us their financials to share with prospective buyers.
